Meet the Guy Behind the Shine
Wheateys was built the old school way – a farm kid with a power washer and hard work. Emmitt Wheatley, born and raised in Adair, Iowa, knows firsthand the grind of farm life, the cost of equipment, and the frustration of trying to keep it clean in the middle of a muddy, hectic season.
After years of doing it himself (and probably doing it the hard way at first), Emmitt decided to make it easier for folks like him. What started as a side hustle turned into Wheatey’s, a full-service, mobile equipment cleaning business that comes straight to your farm and gets the job done right.
Before launching Wheatey’s, Emmitt was sprinting his way to college as a standout track athlete at Simpson College. That’s how he runs his business now, too with hustle, heart, and a don’t-quit attitude.
Emmitt leads the crew with the kind of pride only someone who actually uses the equipment can offer. He’s not just in it to make things shine, he’s here to help farmers protect what they’ve worked hard to afford.
